Everyone in my family is a nurse.
I've always had a passion for a healthcare role. Nursing is a challenging career, and I wanted the challenge, so I aimed for critical care. I've been in the ICU for four years now.
I'm a murse, a male nurse, and cutesy tees were never my aesthetic. I wanted apparel I could wear that shows my actual personality while still showing I'm an RN. Dark humor is my style, and I know a lot of critical care nurses, and plenty of other nurses too, who'd be happy wearing it.
So I started making them. Dark humor for people who work in healthcare. No pink sweater. No line we won't cross.
These days I draw every design by hand, then work with an artist on the final touches. After that it comes to me, and I press it by hand, one shirt at a time.
