It's Giving Sepsis Oversized Crewneck
Second run · limited. Ships in 1–2 business days.
You know the one. The patient who looked fine at 0700 and is on three pressors by noon. The lactate that comes back and changes the whole day. It's giving sepsis.
Blackletter across the back with skeleton hands coming over the top and gripping the words, the payoff line in deep crimson. Small wordmark on the chest with a skeleton hand throwing a peace sign where the ampersand should be. Drawn by hand, on paper, between shifts.
How it fits
Oversized · unisex sizing · runs large
| Fitted | True to size | Relaxed | Oversized |
| Want it oversized? Stay at your normal size. |
| Want a true fit? Go one size down. |
| Women: unisex sizing is cut to men's proportions — one down for oversized, two down for fitted. |
On the models
She's wearing a Large — oversized fit.
He's wearing an XL at 5'9", 205 lb — also oversized. Both of us are in our usual size.
Generous through the body and sleeves, with a set-in shoulder rather than a true drop shoulder — it wears oversized without the exaggerated seam.
Measurements
Garment measured flat, in inches. Chest is taken 1" below the armhole, so double it for the full way round. Length is from the high point of the shoulder.
| Size | Chest (flat) | Length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 20" | 27" |
| M | 22" | 28" |
| L | 24" | 29" |
| XL | 26" | 30" |
| 2XL | 28" | 31" |
| 3XL | 30" | 32" |
For reference: this runs about 2" wider in the chest than our Comfort Colors tees at the same size. If you own one of our tees and want the same fit, go one size down.

The second run
The first run went out as a preorder so I could order blanks against what people actually wanted instead of guessing at sizes, and it sold out in two weeks. This is a small second run in S through XL, pressed by hand, one at a time, between ICU shifts.
When a size sells out, it's out until the next press.
Hand-pressed in California. Cold wash inside out, tumble dry low, don't iron the print.
Made by a nurse.
Not cutesy. Not flimsy.

Pressed by a nurse, not a factory
No middleman. Every shirt goes through the press one at a time in California, by an ICU nurse between shifts. That's me.

DTF, not DTG
The ink keeps fine detail on black and survives the washing a working wardrobe actually gets. It flexes with the fabric instead of sitting on top and cracking.

6.1 oz cotton, boxy fit
Comfort Colors 1717, heavyweight ring-spun cotton. Roomy, a little boxy, softer every wash. Fine on shift, fine off it.

Questions we get a lot
What size should I get?
True to size with a relaxed, roomy cut. I'm 5'9", 205 lb and wear XL for a regular fit, or L for a closer fit through the arms. Size up one for a fully oversized look. Most women size down one for relaxed, or two for fitted.
What blank do you print on?
Comfort Colors 1717 in black — 6.1 oz heavyweight 100% ring-spun cotton, side-seamed, with a curved hem. DTF printed. It runs roomier than a Gildan or Bella+Canvas at the same size label.
How fast does it ship?
1–2 business days from California, unless the product page says it's a preorder. Shipping is free on orders over $60, otherwise a flat $6.99.
How do I wash it?
Cold wash inside out, tumble dry low, and don't iron directly over the print. Do that and it stays sharp and flexible for the life of the shirt.
Who actually makes these?
One ICU nurse. Designed, pressed, packed, and shipped between shifts. Not print-on-demand, not drop-shipped, no warehouse.
Can I return or exchange it?
Yes. Reach out and we'll sort out a size swap or a return — the full terms are on the refund policy page.
